action

A young boy lives with his mother in a barren new building complex. In the morning she goes to work and he goes to school. One sunny day the boy wants to get milk after school. On the way to the dealer he comes across a hype. At one stand there is a wheel of fortune where you can win aquarium fish, including a goldfish. The boy is tempted to spend the milk money on it, but changes his mind. On the way back he stops there again. A stocky man has just won and wants the goldfish, but it cannot be caught. During the hunt for the goldfish, the boy's milk bottle falls, whereupon the man compensates the boy. The boy puts part of the money on his heart and wins the goldfish, which now voluntarily swims into the net. At home, the goldfish is placed in an aquarium next to the bird cage. While the boy is at school, the fish and the bird imitate each other's movements, each in his or her element. Here it happens that the fish falls out of the shell when jumping.

At the same moment the farm cat comes into the apartment and pines for the bird in the cage. When she sees the fish, she is not too interested. Just before the boy comes home, she brings the fish back into the aquarium and leaves the apartment.
