The Hitachi Consulting Corporation (abbreviated HCC) is a management and technology consulting firm based in global Dallas , Texas . It was founded in 2000 as a subsidiary of the Japanese electronics company Hitachi and employs over 2,000 people in its branches in the USA, Japan, Great Britain, Spain, Portugal and Germany.

history

Since the company was founded by taking over the consulting division of Grant Thornton in November 2000, Hitachi Consulting has grown strongly, both organically and inorganically. Acquisitions include WaveBend Solutions from BDO Seidman (June 2001), Tactica Technology (November 2001), Aspirity (April 2004), Dove Consulting (August 2005), Impact Plus by Hitachi Consulting UK (April 2007), Iteration2 (June 2007) and JMN Associates (March 2008). After Arthur Andersen was dissolved , 23 partners and 370 consultants from Andersen Business Consulting joined the company in June 2002.

The American branches have only been operating under the name Hitachi Consulting since May 2003. The Japanese Hitachi company Exsurge was renamed accordingly in April 2006.

Hitachi Consulting Europe (HCE) was founded in March 2006 with offices in the UK, Spain and Portugal. The German branch Hitachi Consulting Germany (HCG) in Dreieich near Frankfurt am Main followed in January 2007 . In addition, there has been a Global Solution Center in India since November 2005.

Solutions in the areas of corporate management, customer and channel, strategic technology and supply chain.

Customers include 35% of the Fortune 100 companies and 25% of the Global 100. Strategic alliances exist with Microsoft (Gold Certified Partner), Oracle (Certified Advantage Partner), SAP (Services Alliance Partner), Lawson and Hyperion .
