HiteJinro is a South Korean beverage company from Yongsan-gu , Seoul . The company has developed into one of the best-selling breweries in Korea over the past few decades. The company is listed on the South Korean stock exchange.
history
The company goes back to the soju manufacturer Jinro, founded in 1924, and the Hite brewery, founded in 1933 under the name Chosun . According to their own statements, Hite was the first brewery in Korea. In 2005 the two companies merged to form the HiteJinro Group.
Products
Hite's main products are beers, rice wines and mineral water . Whiskey and wine are also produced. The company also imports foreign products and sells them in South Korea. So z. B. Wines from Australia, Chile and Europe, sparkling wine from Henkell , and beers from Kronenbourg , Schöfferhofer and Singha .
