Eberhard Ackermann

Eberhard Rolf Otto Ackermann (born November 2, 1933 in Wethau ) is a German economist .

Life

Eberhard Rolf Otto Ackermann was born on November 2, 1933 in Wethau. His father Otto Ackermann was a bricklayer , his mother Erna Ackermann, née Kraneis, was an industrial worker. 1952 Ackermann graduated from high school in Naumburg . Then he moved to the University of Rostock to study shipbuilding. He graduated in 1957, the University appointed him graduate - engineering . In the same year he was hired by the VEB shipyard Fürstenberg / Oder . In 1960 he gave up this position and until 1966 acted several times as economic director of the Rostock district . In the following four years he was technical director at Nordic Yards Wismar .

He went to the University of Rostock in 1970 and became head of science. In 1974 the university earned him a doctorate in economics. After his habilitation in 1979, he became a lecturer in socialist economic management the following year and an associate professor of this teaching in 1985 . Since 1988 he has been a full professor. In 1990 he accepted a full professorship for human resource management. From 1975 to 1987 he also headed several research projects in heavy machinery and plant engineering companies.

In 1992 Ackermann left the university and headed the association Institute for Regional Economic and Labor Market Strategies until 2002.
