Hitler goes broke ( Russian Гитлер капут! Gitler kaput! ) Is a Russian comedy from 2008 . It largely parodies the popular Soviet spy series Seventeen Moments of Spring .

action

SS-Standartenführer Olaf Schurenberg is a Soviet spy and is supposed to get secret documents from the Berlin Führer headquarters . In addition, the management team demands that he adhere to the basic rules of the conspiracy. Spending free time with the Nazis is one of those rules. Although he hates these company celebrations, he overcomes himself and takes part in the world championship in "Heil Hitler" greetings or delights the female night owls in the capital with singing and dancing. With anachronisms like a Nazi navigation system, it shows that it is also technically far ahead of its time. Unfortunately, he forfeited this advantage again due to nausea when, for example, at the passport control by the SS he shows his Soviet spy ID instead of his SS ID card.
