The Hobbs Bank ( English ) is a submarine bank off the Hobbs coast of Marie-Byrd Land in West Antarctica .
It is named after the naming of the coast of the same name. It is named after the American geologist William Herbert Hobbs (1864–1953), an expert on polar geography and history. .
