Grand Duke Friedrich!
Grand Duke Friedrich! is a German march of the early 20th century.
The military march was composed in 1903 for the centenary of the 1st Baden Leib Grenadier Regiment No. 109 by its Kapellmeister Adolf Boettge (1848–1913) and was the regiment's parade march.
The Grand Duke Friedrich (I) of Baden named in the title of the march and honored with it was the chief of the 1st Baden Leib-Grenadier-Regiment No. 109, which he had elevated to a Leibregiment in 1856 .
The trio of the march contains the old folk anthem of Baden.
The march high Grand Duke Friedrich! must not be confused with the March Inf.-Rgt. Grand Duke Friedrich of Baden ( AM II, 224).
