The first documented mention of the farm dates back to 1307, making it one of the oldest residential areas in the Heilenbeck Bachtal . The Wittenstein mill belonged to the living space .
The semi-detached house at Heilenbecker Straße 288 is a massive quarry stone house with preserved segmented arched windows in natural stone walls . Modern additions and facade cladding reduce the monument value and it is only worth protecting as a unit with the other semi-detached house. The semi-detached house Heilenbecker Road 290 is slated and has on the gable end of the loft a loading hatch with wide overhanging derrick . The wooden windows are only partially preserved.
