The Hofstätter See is not far from Prutting and is a largely forested, 57.13 hectare lake in Upper Bavaria . A hiking trail makes it possible to circle almost the entire lake close to the shore. On one of the front sides, a 300 meter long wooden walkway leads over a moor . The lake has two official bathing areas, one on the north bank and the larger one on the east bank of the southern part. There is also a parking lot and a beach house.
