Hofstetten is a district of the Kleinwallstadt market in the Miltenberg district in Bavaria .

The parish village is located in the valley of the New Grave at 162 m above sea level. NN on the district roads 25 and 26.
history
Hofstetten developed into a hub village under the Counts of Rieneck . In 1559 Hofstetten came to the Counts of Erbach as a free allodial property through Elector Friedrich II .
In 1862 the district office of Obernburg was formed, on whose administrative area Hofstetten was located. As everywhere in the German Reich , the term district was introduced in 1939. Hofstetten was now one of the 35 municipalities in the district of Obernburg am Main (license plate OBB ). On July 1, 1971, the previously independent community of Hofstetten was incorporated into Kleinwallstadt. When the district of Obernburg was dissolved, Hofstetten became part of the newly formed district of Miltenberg in 1972 (license plate MIL ).
