The sunken road "Egge Large" is a one in the form ravine in the upcoming Cenomanian - limestone carved Altstraßenabschnitt on the wooded pass "Great Egge" in the southeastern Teutoburg Forest . It is located in the municipality of Horn-Bad Meinberg (district of Holzhausen-Externsteine ) in North Rhine-Westphalia and is about 1.2 km west-southwest of the Externsteine and almost 2.3 km east of the Gauseköte . The path investigation did not produce a find that could be dated with certainty. The Wiembecke rises around 120 m northeast of the cultural monument and is dammed into a pond at the Externsteine.
