Hokuriku Shin'etsu

Hokuriku-Shin'etsu ( Japanese 北 陸 信 越 地方 , -chihō ) or briefly Hokushin'etsu ( 北 信 越 地方 , -chihō ) is a Japanese region , which is composed of the regions Shin'etsu and Hokuriku and thus in turn part of region Chūbu is.

It includes the prefectures of Toyama , Ishikawa , Fukui , Niigata and Nagano , all of which are located on the Sea of Japan except for Nagano .

The region also forms its own constituency block in the general election .
