Hold Me, Thrill Me, Kiss Me, Kill Me is a song by the Irish rock band U2 . It is the first title from the soundtrack to the film Batman Forever and was released as a single in June 1995 .
The music was written by the U2 band members, the lyrics were written by Bono , who in addition to The Edge and Nellee Hooper also took on the role of producer . The recordings were made in Dublin (The Factory and Windmill Lane Studios ) and London (Wild Bunch Studio and Olympic Studios ).
In Ireland the song reached number 1, in the British charts number 2, in Austria number 3, in Switzerland number 5, in Germany number 8 and in the USA number 16.
