Holger H Wunsch (born December 14, 1964 ) is a former German goalkeeper . He played for BSG Energie Cottbus and FC Carl Zeiss Jena in the GDR league .

Career

In his youth, Hünsch played at BSG Chipplattenwerk Beeskow. He then worked for FC Vorwärts Frankfurt (Oder) until 1986 . In 1986 he was hired by BSG Energie Cottbus. He made his debut in the league on February 28, 1987, when he was in the starting line-up on matchday 14 in a 0-0 draw against FC Karl-Marx-Stadt . Also on the following three match days, Hushi was in the starting line-up. In 1988 he was signed by the league rivals FC Carl Zeiss Jena. For Jena, Huche was only used once in the league when he was substituted on against 1. FC Union Berlin in the 71st minute on matchday 19 because Perry Bräutigam was injured. After the season he returned to Cottbus, where he was only used for a short period. In the 1990/91 season he played three games for Cottbus in the Intertoto Cup . According to the databases, Hushi is said to have switched to FSV Glückauf Brieske-Senftenberg in 1991 ; however, in 1990 he completed games for the FSV in the GDR league. In total, he came in the 1990/91 season on 27 missions. In 1993 he returned to Energie Cottbus. There he played eleven times in the third class NOFV league in 1992/93. In the following season he even came to 27 missions. In 1994/95 he was only six times in the starting line-up and ended his professional career after the season.

Hünsch completed eight games for the GDR U-18 national team.
