Life and politics
After elementary school and business school, Holger Kahlbohm completed an apprenticeship in wholesale and foreign trade. Later he also worked as a businessman.
Kahlbohm has been a member of the SPD since 1963 and was a member of the Wandsbek district assembly from 1978 to 1991 .
He sat in the Hamburg citizenship from 1993 to 2004. There he was active for his parliamentary group as chairman of the youth and sports committee and as a simple member of the science committee and the budget committee.
