Holger Werner (born January 24, 1968 in Ludwigshafen am Rhein ) is a former German indoor and beach volleyball player .

Career

In the early 1990s, Holger Werner played indoor volleyball in the Bundesliga at VfB Friedrichshafen , where he and Burkhard Sude also took part in the European CEV Cup competition . Werner then played for six years at league competitor SV Fellbach , where he was German runner-up in 1997/98 alongside Michael Dornheim and Dirk Oldenburg . He also had a few missions in the German national team . At the same time, Holger Werner also played beach volleyball alongside Burkhard Sude, with whom he became German runner-up in 1995 . In addition, Sude / Werner started in 1995 and 1996 on some tournaments of the FIVB World Tour .
