Dutch girl with wooden shoes is a fountain in Munich in the Dutch Quarter, which is located in Schwabing . The fountain dominates a small square on Hollandstrasse. In 1955 it was installed by the Munich sculptor Erich Hoffmann . The bronze sculpture depicts a naked girl striding forward, wearing a Dutch hood . It wears a Dutch clog on its right foot , lifts the other wooden shoe and lets water flow out of it. The water is collected in a round basin.
