The Hollingsworth Glacier is a broad glacier with little gradient in the East Antarctic Victoria Land . It flows from the area east of the Ricker Hills in a northeasterly direction to the David Glacier , which it reaches immediately east of the Trio Nunatakker .
The United States Geological Survey mapped it based on its own surveys and with the help of aerial photographs of the United States Navy between 1956 and 1962. The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named it in 1968 after the American meteorologist Jerry L. Hollingswort, who was on the Amundsen in the winter of 1966 -Scott South Pole Station .
