Holm gardener

Holm Gärtner (* 1952 ) is a German actor and theater director .

Life

Gärtner studied acting at the Leipzig Theater School from 1970 to 1974 . He completed his training there with an acting diploma. He then worked from 1974 to 1993 as an actor and assistant director at the East Berlin theater of friendship, later at Theater an der Parkaue .

He has also appeared in a number of film and television roles. In the GDR television film Die Schneekönigin (1975), a co-production of the Theater der Freund Berlin and GDR television , he played one of the main roles, the young Kai. In the GDR youth film Karlemanns Brücke (1975) he played the role of Private Seeger. He had u. a. also roles in the GDR crime series The public prosecutor has the word (1979) and Polizeiruf 110 (1985, as a police investigator Leutnant Berger).

Gärtner also acted as a radio play speaker . He spoke u. a. the boy in The steadfast tin soldier (released as LP by LITERA-Verlag ) and several roles in the radio play production The Little Mermaid . He was also active in the dubbing. He lent u. a. the Italian actor Walter Chiari his voice.
