Holsteinring

The Holsteinring is a speedway track in Brokstedt in Schleswig-Holstein .

The speedway track is located in a stadium operated by MSC Brokstedt . The stadium has a capacity of around 8,000 spectators.

Speedway Bundesliga races have been held on the 393-meter-long track since the 1970s . The track record is 67.90 seconds and was set on October 3, 2005 by the Czech Aleš Dryml .

On August 31, 2014, the final of the German Speedway Individual Championship 2014 took place at the Holsteinring. In that year the MSC Brokstedt racing team won the Bundesliga championship title.

In addition to the sporting use, other events such as the Lanz Bulldog Meet or the Speedway Music Festival are held at the Holsteinring .
