coat of arms
Blazon : "In silver, a raised, wide blue wavy bar, above a wheelless blue plow, underneath the red gable side of a farmhouse of the late 19th century type with thatched roof, boarded gable and brick lintels and lintels."
The coat of arms combines symbols that emphasize the natural geographical location of the municipality. It shows the largely rural structure and agricultural character of the place. The corrugated beam stands for the Brokstedter Au, while the plow and the farmhouse represent agriculture . However, the sophisticated facade of the farmhouse from the end of the 19th century points to the above-mentioned prosperity of the place.
Partner municipality
The Polish rural community of Przechlewo has been a partner community of Brokstedts since June 25, 2016.
economy
The road connection between Bad Bramstedt and Rendsburg (L 123) , which was built in the 18th century, runs through the community . The community is still predominantly agricultural.
