Neuendorf-Sachsenbande ( Low German Neendbod-Sachsenbann ) is a municipality in the Steinburg district in Schleswig-Holstein in the Wilstermarsch .

Geography and traffic

The deepest naturally formed land in Germany; the normal zero marker is just below the larger writing board.

The 1931 hectare community is located northwest of the city of Wilster in the Steinburg district. The Wilster Au flows through the municipality .

Farm in Sachsenbande

On January 1, 2003, the communities of Neuendorf bei Wilster and Sachsenbande were merged to form the community of Bredensee . This was renamed on April 15, 2003 in Neuendorf-Sachsenbande . The municipality includes the districts of Achterhörn, Averfleth, Goldbogen, Hackeboe, Hinter-Neuendorf, Krützfleth, Sachsenbande and Vorder-Neuendorf.

Since the local elections in 2018, the ABV electoral community has five seats (Jens Tiedemann, Axel Krohn, Frauke Wyhnanek, Lothar Egge, Martina Krohn), the CDU two seats (Silja Egge, Christian Karstens), the SPD one (Marco Bernadi) and the KWV electoral community also a seat (Jürgen Westphalen) in the municipal council.

The two connected ropes symbolize the amalgamation of the parishes. The community is located in the north of the Wilstermarsch natural area in the transition area to the Kudenseer Moor natural area . The silver and blue wavy threads in the shield head and the abstract depression in the shield base are intended to indicate this topographical peculiarity. The blue wavy thread also symbolizes the Wilster Au. The silver mill wings are supposed to remind of the typical scoop mills and thus of the historical drainage technology , with the help of which this characteristic marshland was drained and made agriculturally usable after it was dyed.
