Geography and traffic

Lockstedt is 5 km northeast of Hohenlockstedt and 7 km north of Kellinghusen . The federal highway 206 runs from Itzehoe to Bad Bramstedt about 6 km south of Lockstedt . The mill pond , through which the Mühlenbarbeker Au flows, is located in the municipality.

history
