Hingstheide ( Low German : Hingstheid ) is a municipality in the Steinburg district in Schleswig-Holstein .

Geography and traffic

Hingstheide is about three kilometers south of Wrist, immediately east of the Pinneberg-Neumünster railway line . Hingstheide does not actually have a village center, but consists of a number of individual farmsteads that are spread across the municipality.

Since the local elections in 2018, the KWH electoral community has all seven seats in the municipal council.
