coat of arms

Blazon : "In green above a silver wave bar covered with a blue sturgeon, a striding, gold-armored silver swan."

The coat of arms symbolizes the Krempermarsch on a green background, the silver wave bar with blue sturgeon the location of the community on the river Stör , from which the settlement of this area began in the 13th century. The swan stands for belonging to the Krempermarsch office, which, in connection with the historical "Krempermarsch commune", has the swan as a heraldic animal. The sturgeon indicates the abundance of fish in the river and the occurrence of the fish, which is so rare today.
