Geography and traffic

Breitenberg is about ten kilometers east of Itzehoe , directly on the Stör .

history

Georg Philipp Telemann composed the music for the Breitenberg Church , which was inaugurated on August 7, 1768 . The manuscript is still preserved in the church today.

politics

Of the nine seats in the municipal council, the Breitenberg voter community (BWG) has had six seats since the local elections in 2018. The future of Breitenberg has three seats.
