Warringholz ( Low German : Warrensholt ) is a municipality in the Steinburg district in Schleswig-Holstein .
Geography and traffic
Warringholz is located about 5 km north of Schenefeld and 15 km north of Itzehoe on the green coastal road from Itzehoe to Heide . The Mühlenbach flows through the community.
The districts of Hof Warringholz and Ziegelei Warringholz belong to the community.

The landmark of the place is the so-called " Theeberg ", one of several prehistoric burial sites. Its silhouette on a yellow background is the main symbol of the coat of arms. The name “ Theeberg ” is derived from “ Thingberg ”, meaning a place of assembly, and in historical times it was probably a place that was also of national importance.
The brick network in the Schildfuß is reminiscent of the old brick factory, which was the largest employer in the municipality until 1970.
