Krempdorf ( Low German : Krempdborough ) is a municipality in the Steinburg district in Schleswig-Holstein . The localities Groß Krempdorf and Klein Krempdorf as well as Gehrhof and Am Altendeich belong to Krempdorf.

Geography and traffic

Krempdorf is about four kilometers northeast of Glückstadt and two kilometers west of Krempe . The Kremper Au flows through the area of ​​the municipality. The federal road 413 runs to the west from Elmshorn to Brunsbüttel .

Krempdorf was laid out by Dutch settlers in the 12th century, the structure of the settlement and drainage is preserved to this day.
