The Holstnuten is a mountain peak in the Heimefrontfjella of the East Antarctic Queen Maud Land . In the Kottas Mountains it rises southwest of the Lütkennupen .

Scientists at the Norwegian Polar Institute named him after the quay Christian Middelthon Holst (1913-1945), a leader of the resistance movement in Lillehammer against the German occupation of Norway in World War II , who on June 27, 1945 in Stockholm probably remained from there employees of the foreign secret service of the third Reich was murdered.
