The Untere Holzbach and the Upper Holzbach are two neighboring tributaries to the Moosbach .

Both wooden streams arise on the western slopes that limit the Eglinger Filz and flow largely in a northerly direction before they flow into the Moosbach at a distance of 200 m.

The Obere Holzbach feeds the mill pond of the Sebaldmühle, which still receives an unnamed tributary from the north. 47 ° 55 '24 "N, 11 ° 30' 4" E

The mill pond is located in the immediate vicinity of the pilgrimage church of St. Sebald , after which the mill was named.

The last section of the stream between the Mühlweiher and the mouth is also called the Weichselangerbach .
