The house Holzstr. 19th

The residential building at Holzstrasse 19 is a listed building in Düren , North Rhine-Westphalia . It is on Holzstrasse in the city center, where there are still several listed buildings.

The house was built by Friedrich Lennartz around 1890. From 1906 to 1944 the main customs office was housed in the building. Lennartz lived in the house at Kaiserplatz 9. The 3½-storey building has five axes with neo-renaissance jewelery shapes. The stucco facade has caryatids on the second floor . The oriel tower originally had a pointed tower roof.

The house was the former home of watchmaker Friedrich Lennartz. He had a shop for clocks, mechanical musical works, glasses and optical devices on Wirtelstrasse . After the widow's death, the house at Holzstrasse 19 came into the possession of the Innecken family, who ran an engineering office in the house at Markt 28 (today an arcade). The family still owns the house today (2015).

The building is registered under No. 1/022 in the list of monuments of the city of Düren.
