The CL 250 S is a motorcycle from the Japanese manufacturer Honda .

history

The CL 250 S is the scrambler offshoot of the Honda CB 250 RS. It has its double loop pipe frame and the same trunk motor. It was mainly produced for the US market. Honda's intention was probably to benefit from the Scrambler wave. For this purpose, the frame of the Honda CB 250 was equipped with a single cylinder engine. The exhaust was placed high and relocated behind the right strut. The tires consisted of scrambler-typical knobby tires. The construction time was only two years. As a rule, 17 HP variants were delivered to Germany due to the insurance scale. The throttling was done by a modified exhaust manifold .
