The Honde Himal (also Hongde Himal ) is a glaciated mountain in the Himalayas in Nepal .
At 6556 m, the Honde Himal is the highest point in the Mukut Himal , a mountain range north of the Dhaulagiri Himal . The Honde Himal is located 6.84 km north of the Sita Chuchura . The glaciated northeast, southeast and southwest flanks are drained towards the Hidden Valley to the east . The glacier on the north flank feeds the westward flowing Mukot Khola.
The first ascent was achieved by a Japanese expedition from Nihon University in 1962. On May 28, expedition members Z. Hirayama, T. Miyahara and Shojiro Ishizaka as well as the two sherpas Ang Temba and Ang Dawa climbed the summit.
