The Hongta District ( 红塔区 , Hóngtǎ Qū ) is a municipality that belongs to the administrative area of the prefecture-level city of Yuxi in the Chinese province of Yunnan . It has an area of 1,004 km² and has a population of 400,000 (2004).
Administrative structure
At the community level, the district consists of three street quarters , six large communities and two communities (both nationality communities of the Yi ). These are:
