The Xinping Autonomous County of the Yi and Dai ( 新 平 彝族 傣族 自治县 , Xīnpíng Yízú Dǎizú Zìzhìxiàn ) is an autonomous county of the Yi and Dai that belongs to the administrative area of the prefecture of Yuxi in the center of the Chinese province of Yunnan . It has an area of 4,223 square kilometers and has a population of around 270,000 (2004). Its main town is the street district Guishan (桂山 街道).
Administrative structure
At the municipality level, the autonomous district is made up of two street districts , four large municipalities and six municipalities . These are:
- Road quarter Guishan (桂山街道)
- Gucheng Street District (古城 街道)
- Greater community Yangwu (扬武镇)
- Mosha community (漠 沙镇)
- Gasa municipality (戛 洒 镇)
- Shuitang Municipality (水 塘镇)
- Community Pingdian (平甸乡)
- Xinhua Township (新化 乡)
- Community Jianxing (建兴乡)
- Community Laochang (老厂乡)
- Community Laoyuan (者鼋乡)
- Community Pingzhang (平掌乡)
