Horace Cardon
Horace Cardon , Latin Horatius Cardon (* 1565 or 1566 in Lucca , Italy, † 1641 ) was a French printer and publisher .
Cardon was the son of the Catalan Joseph Folch de Cardonna and Isabetta Andrioli, daughter of Sébastiano Andrioli, a nobleman from Lucca. In 1605 Henri IV awarded him the title of nobility for a military achievement. With the fortune that he had built up together with his brother Jacques as a printer and publisher in Lyon and Tournon , he acquired the Château de Rochecardon in 1620 .
