Horacio Sánchez Marquez

Horacio Sánchez Marquez (born March 27, 1953 in Mexico City ) is a retired Mexican football player on the position of goalkeeper . He is the older brother of the Mexican soccer idol Hugo Sánchez .

career

Sánchez Marquez began his professional career at his hometown club UNAM Pumas , where he was under contract from 1973 to 1977 and with whom he won the Mexican football championship in the 1976/77 season . Previously, he had already stood in the goal of the Mexican Olympic selection of 1972 and played five of six Mexican games at the Olympic soccer tournament.

Then he was still with Atlético Español (1977 to 1981), Club León (1981 to 1983), Monarcas Morelia (1983/84), Puebla FC and Ángeles de Puebla under contract.
