Horea Crishan (* 1945 in Hermannstadt ) is a Romanian musician who is particularly well known as a pan flutist .

Horea Crishan finished his studies at the state music academy in Bucharest with the state examination in violin before moving to the Federal Republic of Germany . From 1975 he was a violinist in the NDR Symphony Orchestra . In 1979 Crishan turned to the pan flute and already released his first album in 1980 (“Pan flute and organ”, with Marcel Cellier ). As a panflutist, Crishan worked with, among others, Eugen Cicero and James Last (including on his 1982 album "Vogelvogel" ). Horea Crishan lives in Hamburg .
