Horizon Chase Turbo is an arcade - racing game that in 2018 the Brazilian game developer Aquiris Game Studio only for the PlayStation 4 and Windows (download via Steam ) and later for Xbox One and Nintendo switch has been released. The game is the sequel to Horizon Chase - World Tour , which was released in 2015 by the same developer who was invited by Sony to port it to their console. Because of this, it is the first Brazilian game that the Japanese gaming giant marketed. The “Turbo” version of Horizon Chase - World Tour includes improved graphics, more cars, more tracks and new features such as local and online co-op modes . The soundtrack has been referred to as "Sega-Core" in relation to this publisher's classic racing games.

Gameplay
Horizon Chase Turbo challenges the player to complete races on tracks around the world. Additional twists and turns to the racing action come in the form of fuel canisters required to complete the race, as well as blue racing flag coins that add points and unlock new tracks, as well as the use of nitro to speed up the player's car. The player starts each race last and must fight his way to 1st place to win. There are also various weather effects and track conditions that affect handling.
development
The game's soundtrack was composed by Barry Leitch, who was contacted about his work on Top Gear , a racing game released for Super Nintendo Entertainment System in 1992. This means that some Top Gear tracks can also be heard in a remixed version. The game's composer also included a hidden proposal of marriage for his longtime girlfriend with the approval of the development team, which was discovered by fans but kept secret until he was ready to share the story.
