buzer.de is a legal database that documents German federal law . The documentation includes the areas of law assigned to reference A , the provisions of which are predominantly announced in Part I of the Federal Law Gazette.

content

The database contains the current and earlier text of the laws and ordinances and all publications in the Federal Law Gazette Part I since 2006. Changes and earlier versions are available in the form of comparisons . Legal provisions cited in the text are directly linked and standards citing the regulation called are listed. In addition to the mandatory search functions, thematically related legal provisions can be found through the electronic replication of the structure of the reference A. If a law authorizes the issue of statutory ordinances , these are listed in a separate area. As far as a legislative process is documented in the documentation and information system for parliamentary processes (all laws and ordinances with Federal Council participation from the 8th electoral term ), this documentation is linked to the respective legal regulation.

An update service has been offered by e-mail since 2015, which provides information about changes to selected or all provisions of federal law.

The operation of the database is based on the open access principle and is financed through advertising.
