Hornberg is part of the municipality of Herrischried in the district of Waldshut and has 200 inhabitants in the Hotzenwald at an altitude of 950 m .
In addition to the core town, the districts of Obergebisbach and Atdorf also belong to the formerly independent municipality of Hornberg.
From Hornberg you have a view of the Wehra, Rhine and Wiesental valleys, as well as the Vosges and planes to land at the EuroAirport near Mulhouse in Alsace.
