The Hornpipe Heights (English for hornpipe heights ) are a group of distinctive and around 1200 m high mountain ridges in the north of the Alexander I Island west of the Antarctic Peninsula . They are bounded by the Sullivan , Mikado and Clarsach glaciers .
The UK Antarctic Place-Names Committee named it in 1977 based on the name of the Whistle Pass , which connects to the northeastern part of the mountain range.
