The Horseshoe Mountain (English for horseshoe mountain ) is a 2514 m high mountain in East Antarctic Victoria Land . It rises west of Mount Fleming on the north flank of the head end of the Taylor Glacier near the edge of the polar plateau .
Participants of the Discovery Expedition (1901-1904) led by the British polar explorer Robert Falcon Scott named it after its shape.
