Horst Deike

Horst Deike (born April 16, 1899 in Magdeburg ; † May 7, 1981 in Wildbad ) was a German publisher and journalist .

He gained his first experience at the Ullstein publishing house in Berlin. In 1923 he founded the Deike Verlag in Berlin , in which the following information and press services were published and still appear today: Deike Press Bilderdienst and Deike Memorial Days. The publisher moved from Berlin to Constance in 1950 . Since the early 1960s there has also been a publishing branch in Kreuzlingen (Switzerland). Horst Deike ran the publishing house together with his son Wolfgang Deike until his death. Wolfgang Deike has headed the publishing house since 1981. In 2003 the granddaughter Antina Deike-Münstermann took over the publishing house from Wolfgang Deike.
