Horst Fritsch

Horst Fritsch (born May 2, 1931 in Berlin ; † October 17, 2010 ) was a German politician and from 1986 to 1987 a member of the Bundestag for the Green Party .

The social worker joined the Bundestag on March 14, 1986 as a replacement for the resigned MP Otto Schily and was a member of it until the end of the legislative period in 1987. He was a full member of the Petitions Committee , a deputy member of the Legal Affairs Committee until June 1986 and of the Committee for the Environment, Nature Conservation and Nuclear Safety from November 1986 . From 1988 to 1990 he was state chairman of the Greens in North Rhine-Westphalia. He had to give up this office for health reasons.

Horst Fritsch was spokesman for the Höxter Green District Association and worked for the Greens of the city of Warburg .

In addition to his political activities, he devoted himself to poetry and painting. He has received several awards for his artistic work.
