Horst Jankhöfer
Horst Jankhöfer (born January 26, 1942 in Sandersdorf ) is a former German handball player and handball trainer .
The 1.82 meter tall Jankhöfer played for SC Leipzig .
In the squad of the GDR men's national handball team , Horst Jankhöfer played at the 1972 Olympic Games in Munich and scored four goals in four games for the GDR team .
After his active career, he was a handball coach. He trained first unit Halle-Neustadt (1st and 2nd league), then ZAB Dessau (1st and 2nd league) and finally the HG 85 Koethen from 1988 to 1990, with which he achieved promotion to the GDR league .
