Horst Kurnitzky

Horst Kurnitzky (* 1938 in Berlin ) is a German philosopher , religious scholar and architect who lives as a freelance author in Mexico and Berlin.

Life

Kurnitzky studied philosophy, sociology, German literature and religious studies in Frankfurt am Main and at the Free University of Berlin with Theodor W. Adorno , Max Horkheimer , Klaus Heinrich and Peter Szondi, among others . He received his doctorate in 1974 with a thesis on the instinctual structure of money at the Free University of Berlin.

Kurnitzky worked as an architect and taught at the Free University of Berlin and at universities in Mexico (UNAM, UAM). He has also been an advisor to universities and governments in Bolivia , Chile and Ecuador . Kurnitzky published articles and essays in the journals Freibeuter , Kursbuch , Lettre International and the Frankfurter Rundschau .
