Horst Mastmann

Horst Mastmann (born February 12, 1927 ) is a German pedagogue and specialist author in the field of education .

Life

Horst Mastmann received his doctorate in 1953 from the Free University of Berlin with the work The Democratic-Republican Movement in Thuringia 1848 . Today he is considered to be the founder of the integrated comprehensive school (see also comprehensive school (Switzerland) ). Mastmann was, among other things, senior director of the Britz-Buckow-Rudow comprehensive school , now Walter-Gropius-Schule in Berlin , where he advocated the FEGA differentiation model .
