Horst Seidenfaden

Horst Seidenfaden (born August 22, 1956 in Kassel ) is a German journalist and writer .

Life

After graduating from high school and doing alternative service at the YMCA in Kassel, Seidenfaden began an internship at the Kassel daily newspaper Hessische / Niedersächsische Allgemeine (HNA), where he worked as a local editor in Hann. Münden was active.

Seidenfaden then studied economics and economics in Marburg and Kassel for several semesters . In 1982 he returned to HNA as a business editor . From 1986 he was head of the business editorial department and in 1992 local manager in Kassel. In 1996 Seidenfaden took over the post of deputy editor-in-chief , and in 2002 he was appointed editor-in-chief of the newspaper.

Since 2006, he has published several crime novels , the plot of which is set in his home in North Hesse .

Due to internal differences of opinion on the business strategy, the HNA separated from Seidenfaden by mutual agreement at the end of 2017.

Horst Seidenfaden is married and has three children.
