Horst Temmen
Horst Temmen (born August 31, 1951 ) is a German publisher .
From 1972 to 1977 he studied economics at the University of Bremen and graduated with the 1st state examination. After that he was u. a. worked as a research assistant in the Eastern Europe Research Center founded in 1982 .
In 1984 he and Helmut Donat founded the Donat & Temmen publishing house , which existed until 1987. Since then he has independently run a publishing house called Edition Temmen . With a focus on travel guides for cities like Bremen, regional literature and local authors, he developed his own profile as a small publisher. He usually reads the manuscripts for publications himself in order to add interesting publications to his publisher's program.
Horst Temmen was also a board member of Janosch Film & medien AG from May 2005 to April 2006 .
